The weather is mild outside, the snow is melting on roads and sidewalks making walking and driving wet. This morning I woke up to fog filling the air and hoarfrost on the bare trees; looking at this beautiful site, I took a deep breath and a found a large smile upon my face. It is little things like this that make me happy.
I also discovered a tea that I enjoy thoroughly – chai green tea. I’m not a fan of most chai teas (I had a holiday chai and that was most yum; it is no longer in stores because it was only out for Christmas. Boo), but this one is quite delectable and it is helping me destress.
In other news – I did receive money from EI when I thought I wasn’t going to receive anything. Are you ready for the amount? Drum roll please…… $25.00!!!! Big spender! My mom told me not to go and spend it all at one place; thankfully what I am buying today is only $1.99. I also need a US stamp (postage to the U.S. has gone up to $1 here) to finally mail out a very late birthday card; I’ve been telling my little cousin that it was coming. Perhaps I should buy him a present to make up for lost time.
